did sandra oh win any awards for this?
Ok actually brilliant
bold of me to constantly use the phrase “no worries!” when I am, in fact, constantly full of many worries

Frankie Simone - A newer Puerto Rican queer/lesbian artist who just released her first EP “LOVE//WARRIOR” this year. The single “Queer” is a must listen. She regularly features her wife Che Che Luna as a dancer in her music videos and live performances and they are so adorable together!

Halsey - The stage name of bisexual artist Ashley Frangipane. She has two albums “Badlands” and “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” under her belt. She collaborated with fellow bi pop star Lauren Jauregui on “Strangers” and references male and female lovers on “Bad at love.”

Hayley Kiyoko - Our very own half Japanese lesbian jesus. She first became viral on tumblr after her music video “Girls like Girls” blew up back in 2015. Earlier this year she released her first full album “Expectations” and it’s amazing! She’s probably the most well known wlw pop singer out there & coined the term twentygayteen to describe this year.

Janelle Monae - Janelle Monae does everything from hiphop to pop to rap and came out as pan/bi this year shortly before releasing her third album and accompanying film “Dirty Computer” (which features the very gay single “Pynk” and a female love interest.) She’s a concept album queen and her line “let the vagina have a monologue” has to be my current favorite lyric.

Ji Nilson - Swedish lesbian artist (and we all know everythings gayer in Sweden.) Her album “Scandinavian Pain” is beautiful and regularly references female lovers. “Proud” is probably my favorite single by her. She also has an album titled “Blue is the saddest color” which MUST be a play on Blue is the warmest color. She went to music high school with Tove Lo and Icona Pop!

King Princess - Another newer lesbian artist! She started growing rapidly when Harry Styles tweeted the lyrics to her debut single and gay anthem “1950.” She’s gal pals with Amandla Stenberg (Actress from The Hunger Games, Darkest Minds, The Hate You Give, Ect) and they are so sweet together! She just released her first EP “Make My Bed.”

Mary Lambert - Lesbian artist who first rose to fame when she was featured on Mackelmore’s “Same love.” Since then she’s given us gay hit after gay hit, including a cover of “Jessie’s Girl” and a duet with her mother “Love is Love.” Her latest EP “Bold” was released last year.

Rina Sawayama - Pansexual Japanese-British model and singer. She came out as pan this year and released the song “Cherry.” She also collaborated with gay nb artist Shamir on her single “Tunnel Vision” and it’s beautiful.

Sizzy Rocket - Bisexual musician who released her debut album “Thrills” back in 2016. On it there was a single “Bestie” that was all about her wanting to have sex with her female best friend. She’s released a bunch of catchy new singles this year and has said her upcoming album will have more love songs about ladies!

Zolita - Lesbian dark pop artist who’s second EP “Sappho” was released this year. She regularly uses female pronouns in her music and is probably best known for her “Holy” music video. Her girlfriend is a amateur film director & is featured as Zolita’s love interest in the mv for “Come home with me.”
